Ability is a Nautitech 46 Fly-bridge and OWNER’S VERSION that is nicely equipped for long term cruising in comfort and safety. She has a host of features that will take you around the world.
ABILITY is the desirable Owner’s version with three cabins down and combination galley / main salon on the main deck. To starboard are two cabins, each with a privatae head and a shared shower between. The owner’s hull is large and open with large private head and shower.
Main salon is bright and open with abundant social space for the entire ship’s company. The aft deck is where much of the cruising lifestyle is enjoyed and, with side curtains, can be enclosed or left wide open. Varnished dining table seats six.
The flybridge has a hard top bimini with 5 of the 7 solar panels mounted above. The flybridge also includes the single centerline helm with excellent sight-lines, Aft of the flybridge helm is a comfortable, L shaped seating in the lounge area, a great place to gather and enjoy the views.. A varnished teak table provides another dining option. A third refrigerator is also on the flybridge.
The Nautitech 46 Fly is a performance-oriented catamaran and rock solid boat. She has a foam core construction and is almost 10k pounds lighter than many other catamarans in this size range. Our professional transport captains were very impressed with her performance, stability and her quality construction. Many popular brands in this range emphasize comfort. ABILITY has been lightly used and never chartered. Her three cabin arrangement offers generous space for all guests; the flybridge is the largest and most accommodating of any cats in this range.

Electrical Equipment
Electrical system on ABILITY is the system of the future, innovative and exceptionally efficient. Polar Power Supra 48VDC diesel generator (smoother and quieter than an AC generator) charges large lithium batteries directly and provides the inverter with whatever additional power is needed.
Of note, with appropriate sun exposure, the silent solar array will power the main salon air conditioning while maintaining a 100% charge.

Why We Love This Yacht!
Where do we start? There is so much to love about this yacht! Here are some of the things we love about Ability.
Lots of Solar Power
With 2625 watts of solar power we rarely ran the generator. The solar panels produce enough power to charge up the lithium ion batteries during the day as well as produce enough power while charging to do a variety of daily chores, such as make water or do the laundry, etc. For a cruiser having enough power is very important and Ability does a good job of it.
Huge Fly Bridge
Ability has a huge fly bridge and covered upper lounge that is great for hanging out with friends and family.
Owner’s Cabin
The port side hull is the exclusive owner’s cabin with a king size bed. It also has a private head and shower.
Plenty of Fresh Water
The Desalator water maker produces all the fresh water we need and we are able to wash cloths and keep things clean in the boat. The solar panels produce enough power to run the water maker without starting the generator which is really nice. The same goes for the washing machine. Ability truly is nicely outfitted for a comfortable cruising life style!
Refrigeration
Ability has 2 Fridge / Freezers so having enough food on board for long passages isn’t a problem. In addition there is a counter fridge / cooler that stays very cold and can be adjusted to be used as another freezer. Added still is an ice maker in the galley and a fridge on the fly-bridge.
Stability
Even during the roughest seas Ability has proven to be more than “Able”. Even our transport captains told us how impressed they were with Ability and that they had transported many other catamarans that had a great amount of “flexing” of the hulls but not Ability – she is a rock solid well built boat that they said would take us anywhere we want to go.
